In this class we will explore the wonderful world of chemistry. As we experiment with yeast and turn milk into mozzarella cheese, we will discuss chemistry concepts, such as the role of a catalyst. Be prepared to learn by doing and then enjoy the delicious product at the end.

Liesbeth Koning is a teacher at Marin Montessori school. She has taught middle school science for 8 years. When she is not exploring science, math, theater, and farming with her students, she is spending time with her two daughters, Grace and Phoenix. Liesbeth is a self proclaimed life long learner and loves to make learning fun.
